Arundel July 2017

Following some fantastic fun and weather during our May Arundel residential, we headed back for our July trip with high hopes of more sunshine and even more cricketing fun!

Unfortunately, we were greeted by rain at the beginning of both the boys’ trip (Monday) and the girls’ trip (Wednesday), but, thanks to the creative and talented Arundel coaches, that did not stop the children from working on their skills and having fun in the indoor school!

“The coaching was outstanding. The coaches helped us to improve our game.”

Thankfully, the rain did not hang around all week and both groups were able to play some cricket on the Arundel Castle Cricket Ground.

This year we had a few new groups joining us for the first time. This included a group from Sarah Bonnell Girls School in Stratford and some primary school girls from Middle Park Primary in Eltham.
Altogether, we had 96 children (48 boys and 48 girls) who came from a combination of:

Greenwich CC, West Ham CC, Newham CC, Stoke Newington CC, Wanstead CC, Sarah Bonnell Secondary and Middle Park Primary.
